An experimental essay which explores discipline, faith, disability and family alongside the production of his long-term multimedia project, “A TIRED DOG IS A GOOD DOG.” Mining his own autobiography as a queer, Jewish quadruplet growing up on a Collie-breeding farm in New Jersey, Lax considers puppy play and his own process in conversation with other dog films, dog ideas and dog projects from Laurie Anderson, Donna Haraway, Franz Kafka, Diana Thater, the Lassie franchise and others.
