BLINDSPOTS (in progress)
A horse’s eyes are on either side of their head, resulting in almost spherical vision, with a blind spot directly behind them. BLINDSPOTS is an experimental documentary emulating the 350° equine field of vision through a combination of cameras and binaural microphones. Centering the story of my mother’s horse who went blind after losing her foal, and other stories by women who ride and love horses, BLINDSPOTS explores family, the able/disabled body, and the working animal.
